 UK launch of Qnippo’s Minimize

Qnippo’s, the world’s first on-line sales promotion cash-back mechanic, is about to launch in the UK and Ark-H Handling is proud to have been selected as their handling and fulfilment partner.

Qnippo’s, established in Holland in 2009, is the brain-child of Peter Strating, well known as a leading European sales promotions guru. The revolutionary Qnippo’s offers brands a modern alternative to traditional coupons and cash-backs, providing the perfect 21st century approach to incentivising consumer purchase, generating loyalty, increasing footfall and avoiding the margin-damaging pressures of discounting in a tight economy. 

Furthermore, the brands are not the only beneficiary, because the retailers benefit from increased shopper marketing/incentivisation without the reductions in sales arising from ‘discount’ selling.

Not surprisingly, with all those benefits, the owners of the Qnippo’s brand are expecting very high levels of take-up in the UK.  In its first year in Holland the concept was enthusiastically employed by a wide range of companies and Qnippo’s can now boast a user portfolio that includes PepsiCo, Danone, Coca-Cola, Kraft, Nestle, Sara Lee and a host of Dutch companies.  Andrew Mallinson, MD of Qnippo’s UK, is extremely optimistic about the scope for Qnippo’s in the UK market.  “Sales promotion in the UK is a sophisticated medium and Qnippo’s offers just the right levels of innovation, with efficiency and security.  With brand margins under pressure, Qnippo’s is sure to capture the imagination of the current generation of UK trade marketing and marketing teams.”

In addition to the benefits listed above, Qnippo’s also offers significant cost savings supported by exceptionally high levels of security and fraud prevention.  Qnippo’s UK needed a fulfilment partner that could meet their requirement for the highest possible levels of service, security and process, combined with the capacity to handle rapid uptake.  After a review of the market and a tendering process Qnippo’s chose the Ark-H Group.
